Recently I was the art director for NCsoft's Core Technology Group. My time with NCsoft was focused on tools, pipelines and developing concepts and ideas for new IP and prototypes. I have experience working professionally as an art director, concept artist, modeler, animator and producer. My work includes development of art for computer games, content for film and television, and designs for bands and commercial venues. I began my career as a designer and poster artist then moved into the fashion world with a boutique clothing company (national distribution) based in Austin Texas. For the past 13 years I have been involved in digital art and video games and have worked for Electronic Arts, Maxis, Microsoft and Origin among other companies. I have been an Art Director on Microsoft titles, assembled teams, directed studios and have had a range of clients including, Disney, AMD, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Flagship Studios and Terminal Reality. I have worked on console games from Blood Rayne to MMO's such as the Ultima series. I have contributed to the development of college video game curriculums as well as taught college classes in video game art and application. I have lectured and spoken on panels about video games and art, (including art curriculums) on multiple occasions. When not at work or traveling and taking photographs I can be found in my art studio or spending time with my wife and two dogs, Polly and Theo.
